Noddy
Meet Noddy, a sweet and sensitive young boy looking for a patient and quiet adult only home to allow him to flourish in his own time. He is an affectionate boy once he gets to know you, but can get overwhelmed very easily. Due to his this, he is currently building up to going on walks and encountering new environments very gradually and this is something that will need to be continued in the new home at his own pace. Due to his nervousness and building up to his walks, he will need his own secure garden to help him with further housetraining and provide a safe outlet for his training and energy levels. Adopters will need to take it very slowly and Noddy would benefit from ongoing external behaviourist support in the home. With behaviourist support, this will be beneficial to help his dog socialisation skills and ongoing training in the home. Noddy is working on his behaviours around other dogs and currently favours females. There is the potential he could live with a calm and very well-matched female dog in the home, pending successful introductions at our centre.
More details about Noddy
Ideally a home with previous experience with this breed, guarding behaviours and nervousness will help set him up for success in the home as he has the potential to grow into a loving sensitive boy.
